Do we need staff at the check-in counter?
Not necessarily — the kiosk is unattended by design: guests scan a QR or register as walk-ins and the badge prints itself. Many events run a hybrid door: kiosks clear the bulk, one crew member handles exceptions.
How does badge printing work?
The app drives on-demand thermal badge printers — the same Zebra units we rent out — printing the moment a guest checks in. No pre-printed stacks, no misspelt names sitting uncollected.
What happens when the venue Wi-Fi dies?
The kiosk keeps checking guests in offline and syncs when the network returns. For belt-and-braces, add a 4G router from our rental catalogue so the door has its own connection.
Where do the registrations come from?
From EventHAUS, our event registration system — guests register or buy tickets online, and the kiosk recognises them at the door. Walk-in registration on the kiosk itself is also supported.
Can we rent the hardware from FrontHAUS?
Yes — check-in tablets, free-standing kiosks and badge printers are all in our rental catalogue, delivered and set up in Singapore, with on-site crew available if you want the door fully handled.
