FrontHAUS

Kiosk

Self-service event check-in kiosk with instant badge printing.

FrontHAUS Kiosk is an Android app that runs event check-in and badge printing. It's fast, it works unattended, and it holds up when the venue network gets flaky.

EventHAUS - On Site Kiosk
The FrontHAUS Kiosk check-in app: event registration welcome and printed name-badge confirmation

Built for the realities of the door.

Unattended check-in

Self-service QR scan or walk-in registration, with no staff needed at the door.

Instant badge printing

A badge prints on demand the moment an attendee checks in.

Works offline

Keeps checking guests in when the venue Wi-Fi drops, then syncs once it returns.

Event check-in that has cleared real Singapore queues.

You may have walked past it. EDB Connect 2026, the MHA Scholarships Tea Session and the Harmony Circles Appreciation Lunch at Gardens by the Bay all ran their doors on FrontHAUS kiosks and badge printers. It's the check-in we use on our own events, so it's built for peak arrival rather than the demo video.

Registrations flow in from EventHAUS, our event registration system; for zero-touch doors, add facial-recognition check-in. The hardware, free-standing check-in kiosks, Zebra badge printers and 4G event WiFi rents from our catalogue, delivered and set up anywhere in Singapore. For the thinking behind a fast door, read the event check-in & registration guide.

Event check-in questions, answered.

Do we need staff at the check-in counter?

Not really. The kiosk is built to run on its own: guests scan a QR or register as a walk-in, and the badge prints itself. Plenty of events still run a hybrid door, where the kiosks clear the bulk of arrivals and one crew member handles the odd exception.

How does badge printing work?

The app drives on-demand thermal badge printers, the same Zebra units we rent out, and a badge prints the moment a guest checks in. No pre-printed stacks, no misspelt names sitting uncollected on a table.

What happens when the venue Wi-Fi dies?

The kiosk keeps checking guests in offline and syncs once the network comes back. If you want a backup, add a 4G router from our rental catalogue so the door runs on its own connection.

Where do the registrations come from?

They come from EventHAUS, our event registration system. Guests register or buy tickets online, and the kiosk recognises them at the door. You can also register walk-ins on the kiosk itself.

Can we rent the hardware from FrontHAUS?

Yes. Check-in tablets, free-standing kiosks and badge printers are all in our rental catalogue, delivered and set up in Singapore. If you want the door fully handled, we can put on-site crew on it too.
