Some events outgrow a 4G connection — a livestream to the client's HQ, a press room pushing photo sets, a hybrid audience watching in 4K. The Archer NX500 is our 5G answer: power it on and it pulls theoretical download speeds of up to 4.67 Gbps* over 5G+, then shares them as AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 or over its gigabit LAN ports. No fixed line, no waiting on the venue's IT contact.
We stock two units, so a larger footprint can run one per zone — or keep the second as a hot spare for a broadcast-critical connection.
NX500 or MR500?
The TP-Link MR500 4G+ router comfortably runs registration, cashless payment and browsing at a lower day rate. Step up to the NX500 when the event streams, uploads or presents over the network — 5G's extra headroom is the difference between "usable" and "smooth" on a congested show floor.
Delivery, data and power
Each router arrives configured with a local 5G data SIM — connect and go, with top-ups available for heavier events. For positions away from mains power, add a battery pack. Feeding a wider setup? The gigabit ports can uplink an outdoor Wi-Fi 7 access point or a venue LAN.

How fast is it, really? 4.67 Gbps is the 5G+ theoretical maximum; real-world throughput depends on signal, band and how busy the local cell is. In practice it delivers a comfortable multiple of 4G — enough for concurrent streaming, uploads and payments.
What if 5G is weak on site? It falls back to 4G+ automatically, so the event stays online at MR500-class speeds.
Can it feed a wired network? Yes — three gigabit ports let it act as the uplink for switches, APs or production kit that prefers a cable.
