The controller DJs already know
Set the DDJ-1000 in front of a booked DJ and they just play. It copies the layout of Pioneer's club-standard CDJ and DJM rig, so there's nothing new to learn on the night. Full-size jog wheels with colour LCDs in the platter, a real 4-channel mixer, the Beat FX DJs already reach for, and Master out on XLR and RCA. Built-in 24-bit soundcard, 16 performance pads, rekordbox running underneath.
Setup
Master out on XLR straight to your PA, add subs for the dance floor, and the DJ brings a laptop or USB. We deliver, connect, and line-check before doors.

Does it need a laptop? Yes. The DDJ-1000 runs off rekordbox or Serato on a laptop.
