Low end you can feel
Full-range tops do fine with speech and most music, but a dance floor or a live band wants weight down where a 15" top gives up. That's the whole job here. The VQ1500D is a 500W active 15" sub with a built-in stereo crossover, so it keeps the low frequencies for itself and passes everything else up the pole to your tops.
Setup
Sub on the floor, top on the 35 mm pole socket above it, one cable each. The crossover splits the signal for you. We set the crossover point and level to the room during sound-check, so it sits under the tops instead of booming over them. Pair it with B615D tops and a Pioneer DJ controller and you've got a full dance-floor rig.
Frequently asked
One sub or two? One puts real weight on the floor. Two spread it evenly across a bigger space, so the back corner feels it like the front does. Tell us your venue size and we'll say which.
