A virtual makers' market for OCBC FRANK
A festive-season virtual marketplace for OCBC's FRANK — local makers showcased and sold, with rewards, workshops and a daily minigame.

For the 2021 festive season, OCBC's youth brand FRANK wanted to do something more generous than a sale: give Singaporean makers a real platform, and give cardholders a reason to spend an afternoon browsing it.
We built FRANK Maker's Market — a virtual shopping experience where local makers showcased and sold everything from food and apparel to accessories and wellness products. To make it feel like an event rather than a checkout, we added the things that keep people coming back: a promo-code rewards system for FRANK and OCBC cardholders, maker workshops, and a daily Word Search minigame.
A marketplace is easy to build and hard to make fun. The difference is in the small loops — a reward to chase, a game to check each day — that turn a list of products into somewhere worth returning to.
