The Cobra 2 trades all three legs for a 40 cm weighted round base, a flat disc that slides under tables, sits against walls and holds a walkway without tripping anyone. The 3-section aluminium column still takes a camera, light or microphone up to 2 m and holds 10 kg dead steady.

Set up in seconds
Twist-lock sections run from 77 cm to full height in one pull. No leg spreading, no levelling dance. The 3/8" screw takes fluid heads, ball heads and camera plates directly, and the included light-stand adapter turns the whole thing into a trip-safe stand for LED panels and other fixtures.

Does it really stand on its own? Yes. The base is a weighted steel disc with anti-slip felt, built for a 10 kg payload at full height. On level ground it's as planted as a light stand, with a lot less floor eaten.
What head does it come with? None. Like most pro supports, it ships as column and base with a 3/8" mount, so bring the head that fits your camera. Or tell us what you're mounting and we'll pair it with the right kit from our catalogue.
How portable is it? It folds to 77 cm and weighs 5.4 kg. One hand carries it, one boot space swallows it.
